Gottex Appoints New CFO

The global investment management group has hired a senior manager from Ernst & Young to take over a key role.

Switzerland-listed Gottex has appointed Pierre Udriot as its new chief financial officer.

Udriot will take over from Tim Roniger, who is leaving the group but with whom he will work closely through to the end of November. Udriot will be based at Gottex’s Swiss subsidiary, Gottex Asset Management (Suisse).

Udriot joins from Ernst & Young, where he was a senior manager specialising in the financial industry, first based in Switzerland and then in Singapore. There, he managed financial and regulatory audit engagements, and gained experience in areas such as corporate governance, internal controls and risk management.

“Pierre comes to Gottex with outstanding credentials and extensive knowledge of all aspects of our business. In addition to his long and diverse experience in the financial industry, Pierre brings to Gottex a broad set of skills in the area of finance, internal controls and regulatory compliance,” said Gottex's executive chairman, Arpad Busson.

“I also take this opportunity to recognise Tim Roniger’s contributions to Gottex and to wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Gottex, which provides predominantly multi-manager and multi-asset solutions and related advisory and risk management services, has offices in Guernsey, Geneva, London, Hong Kong, New York, Luxembourg, and affiliates in Shanghai and Melbourne.
