SEI Lands Long-Term Wealth Partnership With UK's WH Ireland

The US-based financial services and investments firm has forged a long-term deal with the UK business.

US-headquartered SEI, a provider of investment processing, management, and operations solutions, has signed a long-term contract with UK-listed WH Ireland’s wealth division for the latter to use the SEI Wealth Platform service.

The partnership is designed to help WH Ireland develop its wealth operations, dealing with challenges such as regulatory requirements and to position itself for future growth, SEI said in a statement today.

“Partnering with SEI will allow us to enhance our service to clients; ensure that our regulatory obligations of the future are more easily met and to benefit from enhancements in the future development of systems and the overall control environment. SEI was chosen because of our strong cultural alignment based on serving the needs of investment clients, as well as their state-of-the-art technology and relationship-driven approach,” Richard Killingbeck, group chief executive of WH Ireland, said.

Among other developments, at the end of March SEI extended its contract with Bordier & Cie (UK), the private bank, by three years, running to at least 2022.
