LGIM Names New Senior Investment Sales Manager In London
In his new role, Kemp will support and build LGIM's relationships with London-based wealth managers, stockbrokers and fund-of-fund clients.
Legal & General Investment Management has appointed Matthew
Kemp as senior investment sales manager for its London-based
operations.
Kemp joins the firm from Ashburton Investments, where he was head
of UK wholesale distribution. Prior to that, he was a partner at
Smith & Williamson for six years. Earlier in his career, he was
an investment director at Standard Life Investments, where he was
responsible for building relationships with banks and global
distributors. Collectively, Kemp has more than 17 years'
experience in asset management, LGIM said in a statement.
In his new role, he will support and build LGIM's relationships
with London-based wealth managers, stockbrokers and fund-of-fund
clients. Kemp will report to Stephen Gray, who joined LGIM as
head of wealth management in July 2016.
“Matthew’s extensive experience working with a variety of
discretionary clients makes him a valuable addition, and his
appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to build LGIM’s
wholesale proposition,” said Gray.
