Wealth Manager Inducts Graduates Of Training Academy
The firm has four regional academies in London, Manchester, Solihull & Edinburgh.
St James’s Place Wealth Management has inducted 35
financial planners into its ranks following their completion of
the SJP Academy’s two-year training programme.
After they finish the programme, individuals from four regional
academies (London, Manchester, Solihull and Edinburgh) are being
offered the chance to become wealth managers within St James’s
Place, the firm said in a statement yesterday.
The scheme has already had 250 students graduate, with 200
currently studying on the programmes nationwide. The firm admits
that the Academy aims to improve the number of financial advisors
in the UK, which the wealth manager says has dropped from 250,000
in 1992 to 23,000 today.
Candidates are said to be from a wide range of backgrounds; some
23 per cent of the graduates are women and the average age of
graduates is 39.
