The free, one-hour, confidential sessions put on by CISI certified financial planners are worth up to £500($661).
UK investors are being offered free personal financial planning sessions by Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment certified financial planner professionals, which aim to increase financial education, resilience and life goal planning amongst consumers.
The free one-hour confidential sessions are worth up to £500 ($661). They are being offered by CFP professionals throughout England, Scotland and Wales from 3–10 October, said the-not-for profit professional body, CISI.
With 52 financial planning firms already on board throughout the UK, the aim is to increase financial planning awareness, which helps people to organise their money to achieve specific life goals.
Financial planning firms will be offering:
- Free consultation surgeries, either in person, via skype or over the phone;
- Ask a planner online sessions; and
- Talks to schools across the country about the merits of the financial planning profession as a career.

Whether you are part of the sandwich generation trying to manage work, children and parents simultaneously or a young or older person with debt worries our financial planners will aim to help all consumers navigate and improve their personal financial lives.”
