Advent Makes Two New Sales Hires

Advent Software has appointed Jad Fares and Jesper Steiness to newly-created sales positions in the Middle East and Europe.

Fares, with more than 10 years’ experience in the financial sector, has been hired as a regional sales manager for the MENA region, and will be based in Advent’s Dubai office. He joins the firm from Bloomberg, where he served as MENA manager for electronic trading and execution.

In his new role, Fares will be responsible for Advent’s position in Saudi Arabia, as well as the broader MENA region.

Steiness, with more than 20 years’ experience in the global fund industry in Hong Kong, Singapore and Luxembourg, has been appointed as director of business development for the EMEA region, with a focus on the Luxembourg market. Steiness has previously held a number of independent directorships on fund boards.
