Australia-headquartered . UK-based Intrinsic will move to IRESS’s XPLAN technology through a phased roll-out. Advisors in the Intrinsic network will be able to digitally engage with clients through the XPLAN Touch mobile app, through which clients can access portfolio information, self-update personal details and securely message their advisor. “Having the right technology in place is central to any successful business model and never more so than for today’s advisor network, where a differentiated service can deliver real benefits for users,” said IRESS's managing director, Simon Badley. “XPLAN will help build greater efficiencies within business processes and aid Intrinsic in making the transformational change they are looking to achieve for their advisors. We are committed to providing and implementing smart solutions that match the diverse and evolving needs of wealth and advice companies, whatever their size or structure.” The partnership follows IRESS's recent acquisition of Proquote and Pulse Software Systems, which came as a move to boost the company's presence in the UK capital markets and discretionary fund management space. Earlier this month, Intrinsic announced it was launching a UK advice business with its parent company, Old Mutual Wealth. It recently integrated more than 200 advisors formerly with the Sesame network.
