has appointed Leigh Yeaman as divisional director and head of the Belfast office. She is taking over from Samuel Brown, following his retirement in September.
Yeaman joined the firm as an investment director in 2015 and manages portfolios for high net worth private clients, trusts, pension schemes, and corporate entities. She will continue to support her clients while directing and growing the Belfast business.
“Our Belfast office has over 100 years of heritage in Northern Ireland and deep relationships with clients and professional advisors that have lasted generations. My ambition is to further reinforce our reputation in Belfast through service excellence,” Yeaman said in a statement.
With more than 20 years of wealth management experience, Yeaman worked at Barclays Stockbrokers in Glasgow, Stirling Hendry (now Brewin Dolphin) in Scotland, before moving home to Northern Ireland in 1999, where she was part of Cunningham Coates Stockbrokers and Quilter, prior to joining Investec in June 2015. In her spare time, she volunteers as a non-executive director on The Bryson Group board.

The compliance boss at Liechtenstein-based , the private bank, has resigned from the business for personal reasons, the organisation confirmed to this news service, adding that Johannes Pfister’s departure was not related to his role at LGT.
The Swiss news service finews.com stated that Pfister had left “shortly” after It had probed into his professional past. The report, quoting two – unnamed – sources said that Pfister oversaw compliance at Banca Credinvest until 2014. He was dismissed by the bank in autumn of 2014, the report said, citing Credinvest's lawyer, Fulvio Pelli.
