Allspring Global Investments Monge will be responsible for leading strategy and execution in these regions as part of the International Client Group. He will be based in London and report to Andy Sowerby, head of the International Client Group, the firm said in a statement. Monge has more than 30 years of experience in the industry and a track record of leading institutional sales across the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. Previously, he served as managing director at Wellington Management International overseeing the company’s institutional business in the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. Before that, he was at Citigroup, where he served as asset management director for Southern Europe and the Middle East. Monge has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bocconi University in Italy, graduating cum laude. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a member of the CFA UK. “I believe his impressive background, proven track record and deep expertise will be incredibly valuable as we continue to evolve the company's institutional business to help investors pursue both financial returns and positive outcomes,” Sowerby said. Evelyn Partners Andrews (pictured) spent the last five years in a variety of roles at Arbuthnot Latham, most recently as senior platform lead. He established and led Arbuthnot Latham’s banking and payment programme and was responsible for the transformation of the bank’s online banking, mobile banking app and FX Trading platform. He has also worked for Tilney Group and C Hoare & Co. Azzinnaro has served in senior operational roles at Edgbaston Investment Partners and Silchester International Investors.
