SWIP Appoints New Investment Director In UK

Lloyds Banking Group-owned asset manager, Scottish Windows Investment Partnership, has appointed Jeremy Charles as a new investment director. Prior to SWIP, Charles worked at Aviva UK Life where he served as the senior portfolio manager. Before this, he held numerous positions at Shell Pensions, Shell Trust Bermuda, and Canada Life. Charles will be based in SWIP’s Edinburgh office and will report to Peter Cockburn, the head of the UK equities team. He will be involved in the equity business strategy and in the management of SWIP’s institutional and retail funds divisions. SWIP’s UK equity team has more than £24 billion ($36.43 billion) of assets under management.
