Nguyen previously was the vice president for wealth management and private banking at Comerica Bank in San Diego and had worked at Wells Fargo and NationsBank prior to that. In her new role she will focus on banking, investment management, trust, brokerage, and real estate lending services for individuals, families and foundations and will be based at the company's High Bluff Drive office. 

The appointment was announced just days after Dale Smith joined the San Diego team from Wells Fargo as a managing director. In recent weeks the New York-listed firm also brought in Linnea McArt from Citi Private Bank to lead its Los Angeles office and Basant Kedia from HSBC as a senior relationship manager for Palo Alto.
