CliftonLarsonAllen, the certified public accounting firm that specializes in privately-held businesses and their owners, has hired Kimberly Peterson as a senior manager in the tax department.

Peterson joins the firm’s Stevens Point, WI office, and will focus on delivering tax services to corporations, partnerships and high net worth individuals. She will specialize in businesses in the manufacturing, distribution, construction and retail industries.

Peterson is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and has around 12 years’ accounting experience, the firm said.

CliftonLarsonAllen was formed from the merger of Clifton Gunderson and LarsonAllen, which took place at the beginning of this year, bumping the combined company into the top-ten league of such firms in the US in terms of size.

It has combined revenues of more than $500 million and 3,600 professionals, including more than 500 partners, according to a statement released last November. Its national wealth management practice, CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, has nearly $3 billion in assets under management, it said.
