continues to add to its bulging Hong Kong ranks with the appointment of Polly Tsang as country team head for a newly-established country team. The establishment of a new country team, its seventh in total, is aligned to the bank's intention to develop its business by capturing greater market share and further penetrate the local entrepreneur segment.
Tsang brings over 25 years of banking experience, with prior roles at HSBC, American Express Bank, Citigroup and most recently DBS Private Bank in Hong Kong, where she held the role of country head for the Hong Kong market from 2012.
It is thought that Tsang’s immediate task will be to grow the team to a full-sized country team with a focus on local entrepreneurs.
By the end of June, UBS will have added 31 client advisors, desk heads and country team heads to the Hong Kong domestic team.
