Barclays Wealth has appointed Satya Narayan Bansal to build its onshore wealth management business in India. Mr Bansal joins from ICICI where, most recently, he was responsible for ICICI’s private banking business in South East Asia based in Singapore. Before moving to Singapore, he was responsible for building and growing icicidirect.com into one of the largest online trading portals in India. “We are delighted to have someone of such experience and professionalism join our senior management team within the region,’’ said Robert Morrice, chairman and chief executive, Barclays Asia.
