Barclays Wealth has hired Sandeep Sharma to head up their Indian onshore business in Singapore. Mr Sharma held a similar role at SG Private Bank Asia. SG itself has recently hired a number of senior relationship managers in this hot area of wealth management. The demand for both Indian onshore and non-resident Indian specialist relationship managers is extremely high at the moment in Singapore, and there have been a number of high profile hires, both individual and of teams, in the region.
