Brooks Macdonald Asset Management, a subsidiary of UK-listed wealth manager Brooks Macdonald, is opening a new regional office in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, the firm's eleventh office in the UK and the Channel Islands. 

The new office will be led by Mike Divers, reporting to regional director, Claire Bennison. 

Divers has 13 years' experience as an investment manager and will relocate from the London office for the new role.

He will initially be working alongside Richard Harley, the new business development manager for the Midlands region, and a newly appointed senior executive support.

The new office is set to be open in two weeks and further senior appointments are due to be announced shortly, the firm said in a statement.

In other recent news, earlier this month Brooks Macdonald Asset Management appointed Lisa Brown as an intermediary sales manager, based in London.
