Citibank clients in a number of European countries will soon have the opportunity to invest in portfolios that include alternative investments such as private equity and hedge funds, through an exclusive agreement with Schroders. Initially, Citibank will offer the Schroders multi-manager portfolios to clients in Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain and UK and Jersey offshore International Personal Bank. The portfolios give investors diversification across all asset classes, including alternative investments, and will be actively managed by Schroders. Each portfolio has different risk and return characteristics so that clients can select investment options tailored to their personal financial needs. “Citibank offers wealth management services to clients in 15 countries across the EMEA region and in many of these markets we already have an established partnership with Schroders. This exclusive product launch highlights Schroders’ proven record of producing innovative products with competitive performance,” said Tobias Griess, head of Wealth Management for Citibank EMEA.
