Evelyn Partners
UK-based Evelyn
Partners, a wealth management and professional
services group, has bolstered its northern presence with an
agreement to acquire Haines Watts’
Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle offices. The teams in
these locations provide a range of services and solutions to
support entrepreneurial, owner-managed businesses.
The acquisition will bring five partners, nine directors, and over 150 colleagues from Haines Watts into Evelyn Partners professional services business, the firm said in a statement. The deal represents the sixth acquisition for Evelyn Partners’ professional services business since the start of 2023, as it seeks to augment its organic growth and broaden its geographic footprint.
“This acquisition continues our strategy of expanding the number of business and private clients we provide our professional services to in the north of England,” Andrew Wilkes, chief professional services director of Evelyn Partners, said. The deal is completing imminently.
In 2023, Evelyn Partners acquired Leathers (Newcastle and Harrogate), Ashcroft Partnership LLP (Cambridge), Creaseys (Tunbridge Wells), Harwood Hutton (Beaconsfield) and an international disputes team for its forensic services practice.
