Deutsche's IPB Names Global South Asia Head

The bank's global South Asia business focuses on private banking and wealth services to Indian sub-continent clients, with a focus on NRIs in centres such as Dubai, Geneva, London, Singapore and Hong Kong. It falls within the lender's ultra-high net worth client strategy.
Deutsche Bank
has appointed one of its senior figures, Rajesh Mahadevan,
managing director, as the head of global South Asia at its
international private bank.
Mahadevan, who joined Deutsche Bank in 2011 from Bank
of America Merrill Lynch, has previously worked
at Citibank. Mahadevan has 22 years’ experience in wealth
management across GSA coverage, products and advisory. He reports
to Jinyee Young, head of the IPB, Asia-Pacific, this publication
has learned.
Separately, Amrit Singh is taking on a strategic senior
client advisory role working with and reporting to vice chairman,
Anurag Mahesh.
The GSA business provides private banking and wealth management
services to Indian sub-Continent clients with particular focus on
non-resident Indians across centres such as Dubai, Geneva,
London, Singapore and Hong Kong. It is an important business for
the bank’s ultra-high net worth strategy.
