Evercore Wealth Management Hires From Goldman Sachs In New York
Evercore Wealth Management, a subsidiary of Evercore Partners, has appointed Jordan Szekely - latterly of Goldman Sachs - as a vice president and financial advisor.
At Goldman Sachs, Szekely served as a wealth advisor to high net worth individuals, families and foundations. In his New York-based role at Evercore, he will also work with colleagues in Minneapolis and San Francisco, reporting to Wendy Barasch, partner and head of sales and marketing.
In similar moves, in April Jonathan Bergner and Paulo Coelho were also appointed to the New York office. Bergner joined as managing director and portfolio manager, while Coelho joined as a vice president and wealth advisor. They joined from US Trust and Convergent Wealth Advisors respectively.
Evercore Wealth Management was founded in 2008 as a registered investment advisor. The firm manages $3.6 billion in client assets, as at June 30.
