Two former managers at Soros Private Equity have formed a new transatlantic private equity company, TowerBrook Capital Partners. Neal Moszkowski and Ramez Sousou were in the principal investment department of Goldman Sachs prior to joining Soros. Mr Moszkowski is based in the TowerBrook New York office and Mr Sousou is based in London. Other former Soros employees who are now working for TowerBrook include Patrick Smulders, a former partner at Soros Private Equity and now a senior managing director at TowerBrook, and Jonathan Bilzin, also a former partner at Soros Private Equity and now a managing director at TowerBrook. TowerBrook has $1.3 billion of assets under management and focuses on investments in North American and European middle-market companies.
