First Hawaiian Bank Implements Temenos WealthManager

First Hawaiian Bank, which provides private banking and wealth management services, has chosen to implement Temenos’ WealthManager system to manage the lifecycle of its high net worth clients.
The system operates through a centralised platform which gives a single view of each client’s financial profile, including portfolio information across trust, brokerage, banking and insurance. WealthManager will aim to provide First Hawaiian Bank with a broad suite of modules and functionality in order to reduce the current number of systems, Temenos said in a statement.
The WealthManager software, which aims to manage the entire wealth management lifecycle for HNW clients, includes performance measurement, client reporting, monitoring asset allocation, and tracking against the client’s investment policy statement. The system will aim to automate the bank’s front-office processes and integrate customer relationship management and portfolio management.
“By aggregating data from multiple legacy systems using WealthManager, we provide a more complete picture to our portfolio managers, advisors and trust officers,” said Corbett Kalama, executive vice president of First Hawaiian Bank Wealth Management Group.
First Hawaiian Bank, whose holding company is BancWest Corporation, was founded in 1858. The firm has assets of some $15 billion and has 58 branches in Hawaii, three in Guam and two in Saipan. BancWest Corporation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas.
