UK asset manager Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has bolstered its global developed markets team with the appointments of US equity specialists Nick Ford and Simon Moss. Both join as investment directors and will be based in Edinburgh reporting to head of global developed markets Ian Vose. These hires bring the team to a total of ten. Mr Ford joins from F&C, where he was a director and investment manager, US smaller companies, co-managing the F&C US smaller companies fund, and was formerly at Gartmore. He will take responsibility for the SWIP US smaller companies fund. Mr Moss joins from Legal and General Investment Management's US equity team, having also been at Gartmore, where he worked alongside Mr Ford in the UK and US, managing US equity funds for retail and institutional clients.
