Guggenheim Investment Advisory, part of Guggenheim Partners, has launched a web-based alternatives platform for registered investment advisors, private banks and trust companies.

The Guggenheim Alternatives Platform allows advisors to build customized hedge fund portfolios for their clients, connecting them with around 50 hedge fund managers which have been researched by Guggenheim to express its core ideas on the market.

“Our research team distills the broad universe of more than 10,000 hedge funds by applying a high-conviction, research-intensive approach to evaluating, selecting and monitoring managers,” said Charles Stucke, chief investment officer for Guggenheim Investment Advisors. “Furthermore, we stand behind our research, evidenced by the fact that we invest our own strategic private clients in these same themes and managers that are available on the Guggenheim Alternatives Platform.” 

Investment minimums begin at $100,000 and the available strategies cover distressed, multi-strategy, equity long/short, opportunistic credit, trading/macro and commodities, across developed and emerging economies. The list of funds includes strategies which are constrained by capacity.

The platform is integrated with The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation’s alternative investment products service, providing standardized and streamlined reporting and reconciliation, as well as ongoing monitoring of the funds on the platform.

Guggenheim Investment Advisory’s client service teams will work with clients on guidance and support, and the firm will also provide analytic tools.
