Heartland Bank And Trust Creates Wealth Division In Illinois

Heartland Bank and Trust Co has created a wealth management division based in Normal, IL, according to local media.

Kim Larson has been appointed senior vice president and will run the division. He previously ran the wealth management business for Citizens First National Bank in Princeton, which was acquired by Heartland, the Bureau County Republican reports.

He is relocating from Princeton to Bloomington-Normal this spring, while Linda Grove, a trust officer, will lead the Princeton team.

“Heartland Bank has served the wealth management needs of our customers over the years, mostly through its trust department and farm management team. By creating a new division with three related departments, we are increasing our focus and our resources to improve our service levels,” Fred Drake, chairman and chief executive of Heartland Bank, is quoted as saying.
