IFG Trust and Corporate Group has been rebranded as First Names Group in a move to underscore the group's new independent status; it was formerly the international division of IFG Group and was the subject of a management buyout in July 2012.

“The name … represents our commitment to being the ‘first name’ in the services we offer, in existing and new markets - our ambitious plans for growth have already started to become a reality through the acquisition of fund administration business Moore Management,” Declan Kenny, chief executive of First Names, said in a statement.

First Names Group is a global provider of trust, corporate and fund administration services, with more than 300 employees and offices in the Isle of Man, Jersey, Cyprus, Switzerland, Ireland, UK, the British Virgin Islands and Japan.
