IRESS Reports Rise In H1 Revenue, Profit

The Australia-based firm, which works with wealth managers as part of its client base, reported stronger figures in the H1 period.

IRESS, the Australia-based financial technology firm that works with organisations including wealth managers, has reported A$229.7 million ($167.5 million) in revenue for the first six months of this year, a rise of 8 per cent year-on-year and up by 5 per cent on the previous half-year period.

Reported net profit after tax was A$32.0 million, a rise of 8 per cent on a year earlier.

On a constant currency basis, operating revenue rose by 6 per cent and segment profit was 11 per cent higher on the previous corresponding period (pcp).

“Looking forward, our priority is to continue to drive business momentum in key growth markets, particularly in wealth and lending, with increased UK revenue growth expected in the second half from client projects already underway and a good pipeline of opportunities ahead,” IRESS chief executive Andrew Walsh said.
