Investment Consultancy Opens Dubai Office

The firm, which has offices around the world, marks its 25th birthday this year. It recently completed a management buyout.
Independent investment consulting firm, bfinance, has set up an
office in Dubai to support and grow its Middle Eastern and
African client base. Formerly, these clients were serviced from
its London headquarters.
Alex Denby, managing director, who has moved from
London to Dubai to head up the new office, is joined by fellow
senior colleague Amir Saleem, director, client consulting.
The firm, which turns 25 years' old this year, recently completed
a management buyout, moving back into employee ownership under
the leadership of chief executive officer David Vafai.
The new Middle Eastern branch marks the firm’s 11th location with
other offices in London, Sydney, Hong Kong, Toronto, Montréal,
Chicago, Rome, Paris, Amsterdam and Munich. Clients include
private banks and family offices.
In the MEA region, clients represented more than 20 per cent of
the firm’s revenues in 2023, up from about 10 per cent a decade
ago.
