Karp CM names Sacramento-area business developer

Business builder Paterson to help retirement advisory get a deeper toehold. Karp Capital Management, a San Francisco-based financial-planning and pension-consulting firm, has named former Gallina executive Kate Paterson to lead its business development in and around Sacramento, Calif.
Paterson was head of business development at Gallina, a Novato, Calif.-based accounting firm.

With Karp Capital, Paterson will help Sacramento-area companies understand how they can use Karp Capital's asset-management expertise in developing employee-retirement plans.
