UK-based Matrix Asset Management has named Rebecca Ledlie as head of product and marketing, recruiting her from Gartmore, where she was also head of product.

Before joining Gartmore eight years ago, Ledlie was product manager at Deutsche Asset Management.

The firm also announced that the Candela Fund, previously managed by Olympus Capital, has moved over to Matrix and will now be known as the Matrix Pan-European Equity Fund.

Matrix Group currently has £4 billion (around $6.55 billion) of assets under management and around 250 staff employed across its three divisions: asset management, investment banking and property.
