Mayfair-Based Law Firm Launched

The law firm focuses on areas such as privacy and defence protection, and sports.
Three lawyers working in the fields of reputation and privacy
protection at the organisation Himsworth Legal have formed a new
firm, Himsworth
Scott, based in London’s Mayfair district.
The firm, which focuses on reputation defence, privacy and
sports, is co-founded by Matt Himsworth, Jess Lovell, and
ex-Schillings partner, Chris Scott.
Himsworths Legal has traded for the last six years, developing a
client base including global financial institutions, publicly
listed firms and sports institutions. Scott spent the last 13
years at Schillings, six of them as a partner, developing the
firm’s growth beyond libel and privacy litigation, and
relationships with prominent businesses and families around the
world.
Initially, the firm will have six lawyers operating from a base
in North Audley Street in Mayfair. Recruitment for more team
members is already underway.
“We have a great track record over the past six years as
Himsworths Legal, working for great clients from banks to sports
clubs on a broad range of their reputation and commercial
matters. But when the opportunity came to evolve the business,
and to take it to the next level, everything immediately felt
right. The three of us worked in a team previously, so it is a
little like getting the gang back together, but this time, it’s
on our own terms,” Himsworth said.
