Morningstar UK and Alico Wealth Management have announced an agreement to provide independent financial advisors with planning tools, fund research, and managed portfolios through Morningstar Portfolio Planner SM.

The service is being introduced as part of Select Portfolio, a retirement and investment product range issued by Alico Wealth Management.

“These managed portfolios will be the first application of our controlled volatility methodology in the UK,” said Charles Barnick, managing director of international investment consulting for Morningstar Associates Europe.

Alico Wealth Management is part of Alico, the US-headquartered international life insurance group.
