NBAD Builds Hong Kong Strategy, Names Asia Regional Manager
National Bank of Abu Dhabi has named
Ernest Law Shee-Wing as its new regional manager in Hong
Kong.
Prior to his new role, Mr Law was the director and head of trade
and supply chain finance for National Australia Bank's Asia
regional office in Hong Kong. He will be tasked to build on the
strengths of the company to create a clear positioning strategy
for NBAD in the Far East.
"We are confident that having [Mr Law] on board will help us
achieve our goals in Hong Kong and the region. NBAD's first
branch in Hong Kong is expected to start its operations in the
last quarter of 2009," said Qamber Ali Al Mulla, senior general
manager of the bank's international banking division in a
statement.
NBAD is one of the largest banks in the United Arab Emirates.
