Nerine Trust Makes Quartet Of Appointments In Guernsey

Nerine Trust, part of the international fiduciary firm Nerine Group, has announced a quartet of Guernsey-based appointments, among them that of Rob Habin as chief operating officer for the group.

Habin has over 20 years of experience in the fiduciary sector, having worked with several large firms in areas including business development, client management, client accounting and systems implementation. He was most recently a self-employed fiduciary software consultant and before this was with Julius Baer Trust Company in Guernsey from 1995 to 2008.

Mark Brown, meanwhile, has been appointed as senior trust manager. He has been working for Nerine since November 2009, having previously spent over three years with BSI in Guernsey.

The remaining two appointments were internal promotions aimed at strengthening and expanding the firm’s client administration team. David Morris has been promoted to associate director with responsibility for client administration operations, while Alec Bain has been named senior trust manager. Morris and Bain joined Nerine Guernsey in 2001 and 2008 respectively.
