OCBC Securities Names New Managing Director

Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation has strengthened its securities business with a senior appointment.

Raymond Chee started as managing director of OCBC Securities in 6 August. He replaced Hui Yew Ping, who has left the firm to "pursue personal interests."

Chee started out at OCBC Bank as a relationship manager in corporate banking over 17 years ago. He has served as head of cash management in the global transaction banking unit since June 2010 and held various roles within the division prior to that, including as manager of the fiduciary services arm of OCBC Trustee Limited.

OCBC Securities offers global trading capabilities in 14 stock exchanges.
