Progeny To Acquire Carbon Financial Partners

Acquiring the firm will add £600 million ($729.7 million) to Progeny’s AuM and strenthen its existing presence in Scotland.
UK multi-disciplinary professional services firm, Progeny intends to acquire chartered financial advice firm, Carbon Financial Partners.
The deal will add £600 million ($729.7 million) to Progeny’s AuM, the firm said in a statement this week.
Carbon Financial Partners has a team of 45 staff across offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Perth. It offers a personal service to clients with complex financial needs, business leaders and those approaching important life transitions, with a focus on making a meaningful impact on their lives.
“Combining with Progeny will help us to take our service and advice offering to new levels,” Gordon Wilson, managing director, Carbon Financial Partners, said.

Progeny says it is the first and only B Corp certified firm in the UK to bring together chartered financial planning, asset management, tax, HR and private and corporate legal services.
