Quilter Cheviot Beefs Up Regional Development Management Team

Quilter Cheviot, now part of the UK's Old Mutual Wealth, has hired five new regional development managers.

UK-based investment manager Quilter Cheviot has appointed five new regional development managers across the UK and Ireland.

Kevin Kelly, Lisa Johnson and Simon Gully will join the Belfast, Birmingham and Bristol offices respectively, while Simon Williams and Mark Jarvis will join the London office.

The new recruits follow the company's recent acquisition by Old Mutual Wealth for £585 million ($940 million).

Kelly joins from Zurich Insurance, Johnson was previously a chartered financial planner at a Midlands-based advisory firm, while Gully was most recently head of key accounts at AXA Wealth International. As for the London additions, Williams was previously regional sales manager at Legal and General, while Jarvis spent the last two years with investment manager Charles Stanley.

“The new hires are a reflection of the business’ continued success. Bringing with them a wealth of experience, they will play a valuable role as we strengthen our relationships with intermediaries and build our market share all over the UK, Jersey and Ireland,” said Quilter Cheviot's head of sales,  Glenn Hawksbee.

Quilter Cheviot manages around £17.5 billion of assets. As of the end of 2014, its parent company, Old Mutual Wealth, managed around £96 billion of funds globally.
