UK-based hedge fund manager, RAB Capital, is targeting the retail investment market by planning the launch of a new £150 million ($276 million) closed-end fund on AIM – London’s junior stock market. The fund would give private investors exposure to the RAB Multi-Strategy Fund for the first time. Fund-raising will be primarily through private-client brokers. The float is scheduled to take place in the third quarter of the year. Separately, Capital Management Advisors, the hedge fund manager founded by Angelos Metaxa of the Greek drinks dynasty, has announced a $500 million listing of CMA Global Hedge, another closed-end fund.
