Rothschild Private Banking Opts For Avaloq

Rothschild Private Banking & Trust is the latest private wealth firm to opt for Avaloq’s banking system, which will be implemented across the firm’s London and Zurich offices.
This is Avaloq’s third UK client, following Adam & Co, which signed up in January and Coutts, which is reportedly in the midst of implementing the system.
In February Avaloq opened its first office in the UK, based in London and led by managing director José Manuel Carro and senior sales manager, Peter Dingomal.
Rothschild Private Banking & Trust said it wanted to invest in a solution capable of supporting the bank’s growth ambitions. The bank will implement all modules of the Avaloq Banking System and more than 250 employees at Rothschild will be working with the system across the bank’s London and Zurich branches, said the firm in a statement.
“We chose their system as it comes with a preconfigured ‘model bank’ and covers all the functionalities needed by a bank – front to back,” said Veit de Maddalena, chief executive of Rothschild Private Banking & Trust.
