Rothschild Wealth Management Adds Ex-Barclays Man To Team

This publication brings latest news of moves and appointments in global wealth management.

Rothschild Wealth Management has appointed former Barclays Wealth & Investment Management employee Marcus Baker as a director in its UK business. He joins with immediate effect, based in London.

Baker has 10 years’ experience providing wealth management, investment and structuring advice to international and UK based high net worth individuals, families, trusts and corporate clients, including resident non-domiciled clients. He worked at Barclays Wealth & Investment Management for 10 years (2006-2016).

As exclusively reported in May by WealthBriefing, Rothschild appointed Hugh Billett and Ben Harrison from Credit Suisse to its UK wealth management business.

Based in London, Billett and Harrison join from Credit Suisse Private Bank, where they were relationship managers. They joined Credit Suisse last year. Previously, the pair spent 14 years at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. They will report to Rothschild's UK wealth management chief executive, Helen Watson.
