SEI Expands UK Private Banking Business

The global provider of investment solutions has named a new sales head as part of its UK growth push.

SEI, the US-headquartered financial services company, has appointed Andrew Booker as head of sales within its private banking business to help boost its UK presence.

Booker joins from the private bank Brown Brothers Harriman & Co, where he held senior roles in sales, relationship management and strategic planning. Before this, he served as EMEA head of product management at JP Morgan Private Bank.

Booker takes over the sales function from Dave Simpson, who oversaw it previously and now serves as SEI Wealth Platform's chief relationship officer within the company's UK private banking division.

Based in London and reporting to Simpson, Booker will be responsible for heading up sales efforts to grow the SEI Wealth Platform, an outsourcing solution for wealth managers, which supports trading and transactions on 122 stock exchanges across 49 countries.

As of the end of March, SEI had $258 billion in assets under management and $390 billion in client assets under administration.
