SKAGEN Adds Portfolio Manager
SKAGEN, the Scandinavian-based fund management house, has appointed Erik Bergöö as a new portfolio manager, taking effect from 1 September this year.

Scandinavian-based fund management house, has appointed Erik
Bergöö as a new portfolio manager, taking effect from 1 September
this year.
Joining from Danske Bank Markets in Copenhagen, Bergöö was a
senior analyst covering transportation and industrials.
Previously, Bergöö was a senior analyst at DNB Markets and
covered Nordic industrials, global container and shipping
companies.
Earlier in his career, he spent one year in Singapore to learn
about Asian markets. During his time at Pareto Securities, Bergöö
worked in the equity market team covering global shipping and
global oil service stocks. Before this, he worked for Fidelity
Investments in London, where he covered European equities.
Bergöö will join the SKAGEN Vekst portfolio management team of
Ole Søeberg, Geir Tjetland, and Alexander Stensrud.
“He has a solid knowledge of industrials, transportation and oil
service companies in the Nordic region in particular, but also on
a global scale through his research,” said Søeberg.
