Sal Oppenheim, the German private bank, has appointed Reinhard Krafft, as deputy head of its private banking operations. The position is a new one. He will report to Christopher Freiherr von Oppenheim, a senior partner at the bank and head of private banking. Dr Krafft joins from Dresdner Bank, where he managed the bank’s private and business banking division; he was also chief investment officer. “The successful development of our private banking business will be driven further through this added support at management level. This will enable us to meet the increasing demands of our clients in Germany and abroad with more focus and flexibility,” said Mr Freiherr von Oppenheim, in a statement.
