Sarasin & Partners Reshuffles Asset Management Leadership

The London-based firm said the change to its leadership structure would position it for further growth.
Sarasin
& Partners, the UK investment firm overseeing £19.2 billion
($23.8 billion) in client money, has restructured its asset
management leadership.
Changes include promoting Subitha Subramaniam to head of
investment strategy, formerly asset management team head. The
latter role has been taken up by Sam Jeffries, partner and
investment manager with nearly 30 years’ experience in managing
multi-asset and equity portfolios for high net worth families.
Jeffries, who is a director of Sarasin Investment Funds Limited,
is a former chair of Sarasin & Partners’ Investment Policy
Committee.
The firm also made a number of senior hires in the past year,
including Cédric Phounpadith as head of investment risk, and
multi-asset portfolio managers Alastair Baker and Michael Jervis.
Tom Wildgoose was recently appointed as senior global equity
portfolio manager.
In November 2023, the London-headquartered firm appointed six new partners. See here for two more appointments, announced last December.
