Standard Chartered Adds Senior Private Markets Figure
Based in Singapore, the new appointee who comes from Jones Lang Lasalle, has almost two decades' experience in the wealth management industry.

Chartered has appointed former Jones Lang Lasalle senior
figure Khoo Kian Jin (pictured) as head of private markets for
Southeast Asia and South Asia.
Khoo Kian Jin, who is based in Singapore, reports to Nicholas
Cheng, the head of the private markets group for the global
private bank, StanChart said in a statement yesterday.
In total, “KJ” brings almost 20 years’ experience in wealth
management, with a track record across private banking, family
offices and commercial real estate.
Prior to his new post, Khoo was head of private wealth for Asia
capital markets at Jones Lang Lasalle. Before that, he was CEO at
a single-family office and a senior banker managing ultra-high
net worth clients in Southeast Asia and Greater China for more
than 10 years.
