The newly-appointed figure is responsible for services delivered from the MFO's offices in Luxembourg and Malta.

Multi-family office Stonehage Fleming has named Raphael Eber as corporate services head for continental Europe. The appointment is designed to “bolster Luxembourg as a central hub” for the firm’s corporate and fund services offering.

Eber, who is responsible for the corporate and fund services delivered from the MFO’s Luxembourg and Malta offices, previously worked at BDO Luxembourg, where he was a partner and private equity leader. He was in charge of CF Fund Services, BDO’s central administration for alternative investment funds and hedge funds. Prior to that, Eber was deputy head of corporate solutions at Apex Group.

Eber is now based in Luxembourg, reporting to Willem Badenhorst, group head of corporate services. The appointment, which is effective immediately, is a newly-created role, a spokesperson for the group told this publication.

Stonehage Fleming's Corporate Services division provides corporate and fund solutions and operates from five offices (Luxembourg, Malta, Jersey, South Africa and Mauritius).

In November last year Stonehage Fleming named Gillian Ralston Jordan as head of family office in Guernsey. She was a direct replacement for Iris Harvey who left the role.
