UBS Continues Management Overhaul, Changes
The bank is busy adjusting its roster of senior management figures across wealth management, investment banking, markets and other areas.
UBS has announced a number of leadership roles as the business continues to absorb Credit Suisse and works through its management structure, including the wealth management and investment banking side, this news service can confirm. This adds to a number of changes, as reported here a few days ago.
The Swiss bank has appointed Patrick Grob as head of global wealth management unified global markets. The global markets team also includes Brent Johnson (head of execution services), Dushyant Chadha (head of derivatives and solutions), Natalie Horton (head of financing), Chris Purves (head of digital platforms), and David Innerdale (head of global markets risk and trading).
In Asia-Pacific, Thomas de Garidel and Tim Wannenmacher are co-heads of Global Markets APAC, and in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Paolo Croce will have the leadership role, this news service can confirm.
On the Credit Suisse side, Olivier Charhon has been appointed operating officer for risk and resource management at the UBS investment bank. Neil Hosie, who used to be global equities head at Credit Suisse, will become co-head of global markets distribution.
It is understood that UBS wants to blend its investment banking historical skew towards equities and Asia with Credit Suisse’s expertise and presence in the Americas.
