UK Stockbroker Implements JHC Figaro System

This publication carries latest news on technology developments in the wealth management sector.

UK-based investment manager and stockbroking firm James Brearley & Sons has upgraded its systems architecture by implementing JHC Figaro, the wealth management system.

The JHC Figaro system will support the firm’s share dealing and investment management operations, a statement from James Brearley & Sons said.

The brokerage and investment firm, which is more than 90 years old and based in the north of England, said it will be able to fully automate operations, ranging from client relationship management, portfolio management, real-time trading and order management, to performance analysis and back office processes.

"JHC’s proven, highly-scalable and automated technologies - combined with their track record of working with financial institutions like ourselves and the high and sustained levels of investment in their business - gives us a huge amount of confidence in our decision," said David Hannis, chief executive, James Brearley & Sons.

James Brearley & Sons has five offices and employs over 75 staff.
