Wealth-X, which provides information on trends among the ultra high net worth population of individuals, as well as other services, has opened an office in Lugano.

Europe has 54,325 UHNW individuals with a total net worth of $6.81 trillion, according to latest estimates by Wealth-X. North America has the largest UHNW population and is home to approximately 62,950 ultra wealthy individuals with a net worth of $30 million or more, it said.

To mark the opening of its Lugano office, Wealth-X will organise events including press conferences in the major cities around Switzerland, with figures such as chairman David Leppan and chief executive Mykolas Rambus in attendance. The company will hold two press conferences on 10 and 11 November.
