Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Vanguard, JTC

The latest wealth management moves and appointments in the UK, rest of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

Vanguard
Vanguard has appointed Andreas Zingg (pictured), current country head and managing officer of Vanguard Investments Switzerland, to the newly-created role of head of multi-asset solutions for Vanguard, Europe.

Zingg will report to Rick Vassell, head of Vanguard’s Portfolio Review Department team which oversees the funds and ETFs it offers and the new funds and ETFs it develops. Zingg will be responsible for Vanguard’s European multi-asset product range and its continuing development, dividing his time between London and Zurich, the firm said.

Welcoming him to the position, Vassell said: “His knowledge from both the product and sales side will be of huge benefit in this position, which in turn plays an integral part of Vanguard’s future multi-asset product and solutions offering.”

Before joining Vanguard in 2016, Zingg was head of iShares sales Middle East and Africa and head of iShares sales for the German-speaking parts of Switzerland at BlackRock. Prior to that, he worked for UBS Asset Management.

UK-based Vanguard Asset Management Limited is part of The Vanguard Group Inc. which is one of the world’s largest investment management companies, managing $7.5 trillion on behalf of investors worldwide, as at 30 April 2022.

JTC
JTC, the listed professional services firm concentrating on fund, corporate and private client work, has appointed Naro Zimmerman as deputy head of Caribbean for private client services. It also has promoted Alia Haskouri to director, head of United Arab Emirates. Haskouri succeeds Zimmerman in the UAE.

Zimmerman is moving from Dubai to the Cayman Islands. His responsibilities will include working with JTC’s Caribbean head, Michael Halsey, and other members of the regional team who deliver projects and support growth of the offices in Cayman and the British Virgin Islands.

Prior to moving into this new role, Zimmerman was head of JTC’s Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices, having originally joined JTC in 2020 as an associate director based in Guernsey. He has worked in the fiduciary industry for over 15 years.

Replacing Zimmerman in the Middle East, Haskouri will be responsible for running of JTC’s Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices. She joined JTC’s Dubai office in 2020, having previously worked for an administration services firm.
